Nick has amassed an enormous amount of experience since setting up the practice with his wife, Polly in 1973. He was in the vanguard of the move towards preventative dentistry, and continues to be ahead of field. He is friendly and straightforward, with an excellent way of helping patients to gain the most effective and appropriate treatment for their individual requirements.

Polly is beloved by staff and patients alike. She has a wonderful empathy with her patients, and together with Nick, has been the backbone of the practice since the start. She is a warm hearted and effective clinician.

An experienced general dentist having continually worked in private and NHS practice. Extensive experience with children and nervous patients, particularly enjoys seeing families grow up. Keen interest in minimally invasive dentistry- working with each patient and our team in order to keep the patients’ teeth for as long as possible. Alex has worked at BDC since 2002, she qualified from Guys Hospital in 1998.

With a special interest in treating gum (periodontal) disease. She has since obtained her Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry, and enjoys not only creating beautiful smile makeovers, but also replacing missing teeth with implants as well as other methods. She has great depth of knowledge across dentistry and fantastic treatment results. Khalida did her implant training at the Royal College of surgeons uses is the Ankylos implant system.

Lena has worked at BDC for 22 years, she is vastly experienced, and has a lust for life and learning new techniques. She especially enjoys restorative dentistry. Lena is occasionally able to accept new patients to her list.

Dean qualified from the University of Bristol in 1992 and has worked at Beckenham Dental Centre since 2010. A former practice owner, Dean now concentrates on looking after his extensive patient list, with the emphasis on maintaining good oral health and disease prevention.

Dr Hania Alhussami completed her dentistry statutory exam and vocational training in Nottinghamshire. She then continued to enjoy working in the same busy practice where she completed her vocational training for many years. Hania joined our practice after relocating to South East London in 2015.

Anastasia is a dentist with a special interest in Endodontics. She completed her master's degree in Endodontics (MSc Endo) at the world-renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London. Anastasia is passionate about delivering highly detailed dentistry based upon the best available research. Her training in aesthetic dentistry combined with her appreciation for teeth preservation has motivated her to develop her dental skills. She has a gentle and compassionate approach that puts her patients at ease. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends, exercising, reading and cooking.

I graduated from Kings College, University of London in 1998. I believe in preventative and minimally invasive dentistry and can undertake simple to more complex treatments. The latest dentistry allows treatment to be minimal to preserve and protect tooth structure and work with you if you wish to undertake these modern developments. I have completed consultant-led advanced courses in both Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics (Root Canal) with Aspire Dental Academy. I have completed training and am a registered Master Provider of Fastbraces technology in Orthodontics.

Keong (pronounced Kern) graduated from Manchester University in 1990, and brings immense experience in the practise of dentistry. Over the years, he has worked as a clinical assistant in orthodontics, studied for a Certificate of Restorative Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute, travelled around the world and is now raising his family in Beckenham, having settled here in 2006.

Supritha graduated from India in 2010. She completed her statutory exams in the UK in 2015 and has been practicing as a general dentist. Supritha enjoys all aspects of dentistry and strongly believes in minimally invasive treatments. She is a keen listener and strives to make her patients feel comfortable and relaxed. She regularly attends courses to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, travelling and spending quality time with her family.

I have has extensive post graduate training in aesthetic smile design and Invisalign, and I am passionate about giving patients a confident smile using minimally invasive techniques to produce great results west maintains oral health. I am gentle and have a compassionate nature enabling me to build rapport with anxious patients and work together with them to achieve the best care for their requirements.

Having grown-up around dentistry Abby has a wealth of experience with guiding patients to achieve their optimal dental health outcomes. She takes pride in supporting and settling phobic patients, who she has helped over the years to overcome their anxieties and incorporate a regular maintainance program for them. Abby, in the past has been around many schools spreading the word about healthy eating and oral health; teaching children (and teachers) how to brush effectively and look after their adult teeth. When not at work, Abby enjoys socialising, keeping fit and being a mum to her 2 sons.

Vicky has devoted over 20 years to her patients here, and has played a major part in ensuring that their dental health is in tip-top condition. She has 2 grown-up children, and, when not out with her dogs, enjoys seeing friends and family and keeping fit and well.

Susan has been a part of the team at The Beckenham Dental Centre since 1995 where she joined us initially as a dental nurse/reception. In December 2022 she took over as practice manager. She is dedicated to the practice, the team member and all our patients.
